If you’re looking for an even-handed opinion piece about what this week’s developments in the bounty scandal have meant to a passionate Saints fan, I point you to The Rorschach Test, which I wrote earlier in the week.Today I’m going a little further off I-10, because I just can’t take it anymore.
In between Thursday’s Twitter failings, I saw this tweet from Scott Fujita:
Good read by Ashley Fox is.gd/9UnJZd

And I thought, “Great, the worm is finally starting to turn” (or something slightly less lame). Ashley Fox’s article calling for Goodell to reduce the player penalties was yet another member of the Legitimate Media who has suddenly started to join the legions of Saints fans who have been questioning the legitimacy of the NFL’s case against the Saints for months. That’s when Bradley shattered the very thin piece of glass protecting my tempered optimism.
Bradley: oh my god
THIS woman
oh she has NO right
she’s the one who wrote the piece calling for Sean to be FIRED
f—- thatBradley, of course, is absolutely, one hundred percent correct. Turns out not two days after Roger Goodell released a two page document condemning the Saints, Ms Fox here jumped on our decaying corpse and decided to take a few unmeasured swings at us. Well, Ashley, it’s my turn.
Sports media are the WORST.
